Purell resins to be available soon in the U.S. for use in customer blow-fill-seal applications
LyondellBasell expects commercialization of its Purell PE1840H, Purell PE3020D and Purell PE3220D resins, produced in Morris, IL, in the first half of 2009. Purell PE1840H is an LDPE grade used for all types of ampoules, the latter ones are used by customers for IV bottles. Leading pharmaceutical companies use these grades on a global basis for more than 30 years.
