This is a good time of year in Western Europe, the weather gets better and the holidays are approaching. On a private note, my little daughter starts to sleep more then 2.5 hours, so I also start to sleep a bit, which certainly helps the mood!

We in Alastian are working hard to be meet our target of expanding to Eastern Europe and Russia by the end of this year and that is a challenging and exciting process. There are many legal, technical and other exciting details to work through and that keeps our team working very hard. Besides as short break for summer holidays, this will be a productive summer!

We sponsored the creation of a very interesting article that will soon be launched about keeping competitive in commodity plastics in Europe, a subject that is close to my heart and we hope to get a good discussion started on the different strategies that can be followed in order to remain an attractive party in this industry. I am looking forward to that occasion, in about a week from now.
