Always amazing how many activities you can cram into a relatively short time frame if you try. I visited six customers, went up and down to Bangalore, had a strategy session in our office, was taken out to dinner 3 times and had several marvelous lunches! Should not forget to mention all the session in the hotel gym to work off the extra pounds…

What makes India special to me is the vibrancy of the people, the cultural diversity, the omnipresent extreme contrasts and its rich national heritage. Driving from airport to hotel, you pass slums, prestigious new construction projects and many potholes. The customers I visited sometimes had very stylish offices, only to be reached via dirt roads. The office environment sometimes pretty traditional, but the business practices very switched on. And that makes India such a fertile ground for e-commerce developments of all kinds.
